Trotz Fachkräftemangel: Optimus GmbH sichert sich den Nachwuchs
Langen, 11.September 2024: Die Optimus GmbH setzt ein starkes Zeichen für die Zukunft: Gleich vier neue Auszubildende starten ihre Karriere in dem Zentrum für technische Orthopädie. Trotz des Fachkräftemangels in der Branche konnte das Unternehmen durch gezielte Recruiting Maßnahmen junge Talente für sich gewinnen.
Die Optimus GmbH gehört zu der Preisler Group am Standort Langen und ist spezialisiert auf Hilfsmittel in der Orthopädie- und Rehatechnik. Sie versorgt vor allem neurologisch erkrankte Kinder und Jugendliche und ist somit eine wichtige Anlaufstelle für Betroffene und deren Eltern im gesamten Rhein-Main-Gebiet.
Orthopädie- und Rehatechnik – Handwerk mit Herz
Der Beruf des Orthopädietechnikmechanikers gehört nicht zu den bekanntesten Ausbildungsberufen. Auftakt in die Ausbildung: Ein Tag voller neuer Eindrücke
Am Montag, den 2.9.2024 stand für alle vier „Neulinge“ ein abwechslungsreicher Einführungstag auf dem Programm, an dem sie die verschiedenen Sachgebiete und die Geschichte der Firmengruppe kennenlernen konnten und von Herrn Malich und allen Sachgebietsleitern und Sachgebietsleiterinnen persönlich begrüßt wurden. „Die erste Woche war schon sehr spannend, jetzt freue ich mich darauf viel zu lernen und Teil des neuen Teams zu sein.“, sagt Hanna Mieth, Auszubildende in der Orthopädietechnik.
Investition in die Zukunft: Optimus bindet Fachkräfte von morgen
Beim Thema Ausbildung verfolgt die Optimus ein differenzierte Recruiting-Strategie, die nicht nur auf die Gewinnung, sondern auch auf die langfristige Bindung der Fachkräfte von morgen abziele, erklärt Personalleiterin Christina Preisler. „Als erfolgreicher Unternehmensverbund, der plant, solide zu wachsen, sind wir auf Nachwuchskräfte angewiesen.“ Die Investition in die Ausbildung junger Menschen sei ein zentrales Element der Unternehmensstrategie. Um potenzielle Auszubildende für das Berufsbild des Orthopädietechnikmechanikers oder das Berufsbild des Kaufmanns im Gesundheitswesen zu gewinnen, schöpft das Unternehmen alle Möglichkeiten aus. So nutzt das Unternehmen einen ausgewogenen Medienmix, der neben Social Media auch klassische Printwerbung, Messen, die Präsenz an Schulen umfasst. Dies sorge dafür, dass auch Eltern erreicht würden, so Malich. Ein weiterer wichtiger Baustein im
Azubi-Recruiting seien Praktika und die Teilnahme am Girls´Day, um junge Talente für technische Berufe zu begeistern.
Die Optimus GmbH wurde 1999 gegründet und konnte aufgrund der ausgezeichneten Ausbildungsqualität im Handwerk schon wiederholt Landessieger im Bereich des Orthopädietechnikmechanikers stellen betont Malich, der selbst vor 20 Jahren seine Ausbildung als Orthopädietechnikmechaniker bei Optimus begann und seine Ausbildung als Jahrgangsbester in Hessen abschloss.
Die Preisler Group wächst und gedeiht in Langen
Heute zählt die Preisler Group mit fast 100 Mitarbeitenden am Standort Langen zu einem über die Region hinaus bekannten Gesundheitsdienstleistern.
